Deflecto's patented under-the-eave dryer hood termination with two self-closing dampers that keeps the outside air from re-entering the house yet provides a fabulous, attractive and efficient means to terminate the exhaust when running in the attic. This is the vent only and does not include the 4' of aluminum flex to transition to the attic. Works with bathroom exhaust fans as well. Measures 7" wide by 10" long by 2 1/4" height.

  Great American made product. Easy to install, does what you say it will and looks neat and tidy under the eave. Priced right. Would recommend it to anyone looking for an under eave clothes dryer vent cover. Only suggestion would be to include the necessary screws for installation.

  We needed a soffit appropriate dryer termination that has (1)a non-restricting throughway, (2)non-mechanical damper plates that open easily by vent pressure alone and seal well enough to stop air and insect infiltration, (3)an exterior screen that repels nesting birds without becoming a lint trap, (4)a damper that functions in a high wind environment, and (5)a clean streamlined appearance that does not draw visual attention. We are thrilled with this product!
